Jackson has declared for the NBA Draft but will not hire an agent, Tony Jones of the Salt Lake Tribune reports.

Jackson originally planned to return to Duke for his sophomore season, and that still is a possibility once he gets feedback from NBA teams. If he does return to school after posting 10.9 points and 2.5 rebounds per game, a decision that has to be made by May 24, he would join Grayson Allen in a dynamic backcourt for the Blue Devils.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jackson is planning on returning to Duke for his sophomore season, Gary Parrish of CBS Sports reports.

While there has been no official announcement, it appears as though Duke's starting point guard will hold off on the NBA and return for at least one more season. Jackson is seen as a scoring point guard, and he will be a key piece for a Blue Devils program that is losing a lot of offense this offseason. He and senior Grayson Allen, who announced Tuesday that he will return for his senior year, will lead be a dangerous backcourt pairing next season.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jackson recorded 20 points (7-10 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 4-7 FT), three rebounds, one assists, and one steal in 35 minutes during Wednesday's ACC Tournament win over Clemson.

Jackson started in the place of Grayson Allen, who came off the bench for just 12 minutes of action with a balky ankle. Allen received a technical foul in the first half of the game, so it's possible coach Mike Krzyzweski starts Jackson on Thursday, when the Blue Devils face Louisville. There will likely be more updates on their lineup closer to game time.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jackson will get the start for Grayson Allen on Saturday against UNC, Brian Hamilton of Sports Illustrated reports.

Jackson posted 22 points and four rebounds in a victory on Tuesday against Florida State. A road game in Chapel Hill will be a bigger test, but coach Mike Krzyzewski could turn to Allen, who will be available, off the bench if Jackson struggles.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jackson had a career-high 22 points Tuesday against Florida State, adding four rebounds and an assist.

Jackson has played with a great deal of confidence in his last two outings, coinciding with Grayson Allen's absence or limited minutes due to an ankle injury. He was coming off of a 16-point, six-rebound outing and has shot 14-of-26 in his last two outings, including 6-of-9 from 3-point range. His value remains tied to Allen's availability, but Jackson is starting to show the potential many knew he possessed as a top ranked recruit.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jackson tallied 12 points (4-7 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), in addition to three rebounds and three assists across 22 minutes during Saturday’s victory over Wake Forest.

The freshman point guard has been called upon off of the bench lately as the Blue Devils have elected to go with three shooting guards in their starting five. Surrounded by scoring threats, Jackson has struggled to make a significant impact, averaging 9.9 points in 23.3 minutes of action. Though relegation to the bench is never a positive, coach Mike Krzyzewski will be looking for Jackson to provide both a spark, and log significant minutes if veterans Grayson Allen and Matt Jones require rest or get into foul trouble.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jackson had 10 points (4-7 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-3 FT), four assists, two steals and a rebound over 24 minutes in Saturday's win against Miami.

The freshman got back on track Saturday after recording just six points and one assist over his previous two games. The guard has now scored 10 or more points in three of his past five games, although he has recorded season lows in the other two games. He is averaging 11.1 points in 25.0 minutes off the bench this season.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jackson recorded three points (1-5 FG, 1-3 3Pt) and one rebound in Saturday’s loss to Louisville.

Jackson struggled against the Cardinals just as he did in Duke’s previous game at Florida State, scoring just three points for the second consecutive game. Additionally, the freshman point guard only played 10 minutes, which was his lowest total of the season. During his time on the court, Jackson did not record a single assist and was unable to connect on multiple open shots aside from one 3-pointer that accounted for his only points in the game. He will look to get back on track from when the Blue Devils host Miami on Saturday.
