Mitchell will miss the start of the season after undergoing surgery on his broken left foot, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
ANALYSIS
Mitchell broke his foot in practice last week and will be in cast for five to six weeks. Mike McCall will likely slide over to point guard while Mitchell recuperates. Freshman Keith Carter could also get more playing time.
