Payne scored 11 points (4-9 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT), to go along with nine points, and one assist in Michigan State's upset loss to Nebraska on Sunday.

Although Payne contributed just eleven points on the night, he was still the Spartan's second-leading scorer. Nebraska held the Spartans to just 51 points so there wasn't much scoring to go around. Payne is still one of the best players in the Big Ten so expect his scoring numbers to continue to be on the rise.
