Thomas led the Big Ten in scoring with 19.8 points per game this season, taking the Buckeyes all the way to the Elite Eight. While it's unlikely Thomas finds his way into the lottery, good performances during pre-draft camps and workouts could allow him to become a first-round selection.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Thomas scored 16 points and grabbed six boards against Kansas on Saturday.

Thomas showed he could score even against tough opponents with 16 against Kansas. He's scored in the double-digits in every game this season and should continue to put up solid outings as the Buckeyes run their offense through him.

Thomas notched 19 points, three boards, two dimes and two steals against Albany on Sunday.

Thomas shot 7-for-17 from the floor, including 4-of-9 from downtown. With Jared Sullinger in the NBA, Thomas becomes the focal point of the Buckeye offense.

Thomas scored 25 points in an exhibition win over Walsh on Tuesday.

Thomas will get a lot of shots as a junior. He showed he could score a great deal when Jared Sullinger was out last year. Thomas should lead the Big 10 in scoring and get plenty of rebounds as well.

Thomas has decided to return to Ohio State for his junior season, ESPN reports.

Thomas is expected to be the centerpiece of Buckeyes coach Thad Matta's system following Jared Sullinger's departure for the 2012 NBA Draft. Thomas finished his sophomore year averaging 15.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 1.3 treys in 31.4 minutes, while shooting 52 percent from the field and 74.8 percent at the foul line.

Thomas is keeping his options open after Ohio State's loss to Kansas in the Final Four on Saturday, the Lancaster Eagle Gazette reports.

Thomas could see himself as one of the Buckeyes' leaders in 2012-13, but he revealed mixed emotions. "If something for the best of me happens, then I'll look into it, but right now it's me trying to enjoy my teammates and enjoy New Orleans," he said. Nonetheless, Thomas had his second-worst shooting performance of his sophomore season against the Jayhawks, scoring nine points (3-14 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT) to go with four rebounds and one assist in a foul-filled 23 minutes.

Thomas racked up 26 points (10-17 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT) to go with seven rebounds and one block in 39 minutes as Ohio State handled Cincinnati during the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA Tournament.

Thomas has drilled at least one three-pointer in 12 consecutive contests, which happens to coincide with his streak of double-digit scoring outings. Look for Thomas to continue to pour it in, even with all the talent in Ohio State's starting five.

Thomas posted 18 points (7-15 FG, 1-2 FT), seven rebounds, and three treys in 39 minutes Saturday as Ohio State outlasted Gonzaga during the third round of the NCAA Tournament.

Thomas also tacked on two blocks and one assist, versus two turnovers, to finish off his afternoon for the Buckeyes. In five postseason tilts (three Big Ten, two NCAA), he has averaged 20.8 points (on 55.8 percent shooting), 7.6 boards, 1.8 three-pointers, and one block in 36.8 minutes. Late in the season, Thomas has become Ohio State's go-to player when a scoring run or a clutch rebounding effort is needed.
