Melvin, who was recently suspended indefinitely, is no longer enrolled at DePaul and isn't a part of the basketball program, the Chicago Tribune reports.

A reason for Melvin's suspension was never given, but regardless of what happened his college career will come to an early conclusion. He leads the Blue Demons with 16.7 points per game this season, and the team is 0-4 since he was suspended. Melvin probably isn't an NBA talent but should be able to find work playing basketball overseas, if he so desires.

Melvin has missed the Blue Demons' last two games. Coach Oliver Purnell would not elaborate on the situation and there is no word when (or if) Melvin will return. It could be a rather sad way for the four-year starter's DePaul career to end.
