Boatright exploded for 31 points (10-26 FG, 5-11 3PT, 6-8 FT), eight rebounds and two assists in Sunday's loss to Houston.

Despite the Huskies' struggles, Boatright has been red hot, averaging 27.0 PPG over his last three contests. Sunday's effort represented a season-high in scoring, and his eight boards also matched a season best.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Boatright returned from a thigh bruise to score 14 points (2-11 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 8-9 FT) with six rebounds and six assists in 39 minutes Saturday.

Going into the game, it was not clear if Boatright would be able to play at all, and if he would be limited if he did play. Since he nearly played the whole game, it's clear that the star guard is healthy enough to play big minutes, and should be trusted as usual going forward.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Boatright (thigh) is questionable to play Saturday, Kevin Brockway of the Gainesville Sun reports.

Boatright suffered a deep thigh bruise in his last game, which forced him to miss the second half of Uconn's loss to Temple. Even if he is able to go Saturday, Boatright may not be healthy enough to put up his usual stats, so daily players may want to avoid him until he shows he's healed.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Boatright scored 18 points (6-13 FG, 2-4 3Pt) with five assists and two rebounds in UConn's win Sunday.

This is a fairly typical game for the stellar scorer, who is one of the most consistent scoring options in college basketball. Other than a game where Boatright was playing through a sprained ankle, his lowest point total of the season is 17 points. He will continue to be allowed to run the UConn offense and get his shots, so expect that scoring trend of nearly 20 points per game to continue.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Boatright had 22 points (7-15 FG, 4-7 3 PT, 4-4 FT), four rebounds, three assists and three steals over 35 minutes in Sunday's victory over Coppin State.

An ankle injury slowed Boatright down and limited him to just six points his last time out against Yale, but he returned to his regular self Sunday afternoon. The senior guard is has been a consistent scorer for the Huskies, and is now averaging 18.9 points per game on the season.

Boatright (ankle) is a game time decision for UConn's game against Yale Friday. Andy Katz of ESPN reports.

Boatright suffered a bad ankle sprain Sunday, and is questionable for Friday's game as a result. The decision to return is likely up to how Boatright feels before the game, but the team does not necessarily need him to beat Yale, so he may decide to sit this one out and get a long rest before the team's next game on December 14.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

X-Rays on Boatright's injured ankle came back negative, and he has been diagnosed with a sprain, ESPN's Jeff Goodman reports.

Boatright sustained the initial injury in Sunday's loss to Texas, but he still put up 24 points and grabbed seven boards in the effort. Although he was seen on crutches following the contest, his X-ray results suggest he just suffered a sprain. His status may be up in the air for Friday's tilt against Yale, but a return for the Dec. 14 matchup with Coppin State seems to be a reasonable expectation. Averaging 20.8 points per game, the senior guard is the Huskies' current leading scorer, so it's good news that an extended absence doesn't appear to be in play.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Boatright sprained his ankle and was seen on crutches after UConn's loss to Texas Sunday, ESPN's Andy Katz reports.

Boatright remained optimistic though, indicating that he would be back soon. He is UConn's best offensive option, and has been filling up the stat sheet sheet this season, averaging 20 points, six rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game this year. Connecticut has already struggled a bit this season, and they cannot afford to lose their best player for an extended period, so look for Boatright to try to make a speedy recovery.
