Morgan's seen a rise in his minutes over the second half of the season and has now turned into a consistent and solid big man off the bench.

Don't expect Morgan to do this too often. The senior is a nice player of the bench for the Wolverines but won't be much of an asset in fantasy leagues.

Ironically, Morgan got hurt against Illinois last season too. The Wolverines' win over the Illini puts them in position to claim the #1 ranking in the country.

Morgan was limited to 20 minutes with a shoulder injury Thursday, but still posted seven points (3-4 FG, 1-1 FT) and seven rebounds in Michigan's win at Illinois.

Morgan also picked up a steal while committing three turnovers for the Wolverines. In Big Ten action, he's been a solid contributor on the boards and the defensive end despite occasional foul trouble (2.6 fouls per game), averaging 6.4 rebounds and 0.8 steals in 26.6 minutes.

Morgan also tallied two steals and an assist in 35 minutes of play for the Wolverines. He has shot 50 percent or better from the floor in 10 consecutive contests, averaging 8.6 points (on 64.9 percent shooting), 5.1 rebounds, and 0.9 steals in 27.3 minutes.
