Blackshear (concussion) is listed as a probable starter for Louisville’s next game at Temple, Louisville Sports Information reports.

Blackshear suffered a concussion during practice last week and did not travel to Houston for the Cardinals’ 77-62 win. In his junior campaign, Blackshear is averaging 9.7 points and 3.4 rebounds per game in 21 minutes.

Blackshear (concussion) will not travel with the team for Wednesday's matchup against Houston, Eric Crawford of WDRB Louisville reports.

Blackshear took an elbow to the head during practice, and although coach Rick Petino doesn't think the concussion is overly serious, Louisville will exercise caution here. Look for forwards Montrezl Harrell and Luke Hancock to see an increased workload in Blackshear's absence. The junior forward is averaging career-bests in points (9.7), rebounds (3.4) and blocks (0.6) in his 2013 campaign.

Blackshear has averaged 10.2 points in 21.2 minutes per game this season for the Cardinals off the bench. The junior also sports a solid .455 three-point percentage this season. He led the way in scoring in Wednesday's rout of South Florida.

Blackshear scored a season-high 19 points off the Cardinal bench in the big win over Rutgers on Wednesday. He did his damage in just 14 minutes.

The sophomore swingman missed one game with a shoulder injury and has come off the bench in the last two games. Blackshear seems more willing to shoot as a reserve and has hit 11-of-16 (68.8 percent) from the field since returning from the injury.
