Lacy may have finished with his lowest scoring total in five starts on Wednesday, but over the span of those same games, has nevertheless averaged an impressive 21.6 points a contest.

Lacy led Washington State in scoring with 31 points Saturday as the Cougars downed UT San Antonio 91-71 at home.

Lacy overcame the struggles he's seen shooting the ball this season in Saturday's game, hitting 10-of-15 field goal attempts, including 8-of-12 from beyond the arc. His 31 points against UTSA matched a season-best recorded seven days earlier earlier versus Missouri State and leave the senior averaging 18.5 points a contest this season.

Lacy ended up one of four Washington State starters to finish in double figures on Wedneday, but struggled with his shot throughout the night, converting just 5-of-18 field goal attempts, including 3-of-13 from beyond the arc. Regardless, the senior has produced an impressive 21 points in each of his last three starts.

Lacy broke out as a junior by averaging 19.4 points. He improved his 3-point stroke (39.0 percent from beyond the arc) and attacked the rim more (5.5 free throws attempted per game). There is little reason to think that the 6-4 senior will let up. Whether the Cougars win or lose against UTEP, Lacy should get his.
