Carter-Williams will forgo his final two seasons of eligibility and enter the NBA draft, the AP reports. He averaged 11.9 points, 7.3 assists, and 2.8 steals.

Carter-Williams has the height (6-6) and ball handling skills that NBA prize, but he is not yet much of a shooter. The sophomore broke the Syracuse records for steals and assists in a single season. Freshman Tyler Ennis could start in 2013-14 as the Orange make their way to the ACC.

Carter-Williams provided 12 points, 11 rebounds, and five assists in the win over Marquette in the Elite Eight on Saturday. He added three steals and two blocks.

Carter-Williams had a really nice game and showed off his ball handling skills, which may help him succeed at the next level. He was a pest on the perimeter as the Golden Eagles were just 3-of-25 on 3-pointers. That wasn't all due to Carter-Williams' length, but it was a factor.

Carter-Williams had a career-high 24 points, including three 3-pointers, with six rebounds and four steals in the Sweet 16 win over Indiana on Thursday.

Carter-Williams had a great shooting game even with Victor Oladipo in his hip pocket for most of the game. He played under control, but only had one assist. The Orange guard had 14 points and five assists in the loss to Marquette on Feb. 25.

The sophomore did his damage and only took four shots from the field. He hit his first 3-pointer in four games, but did have six turnovers. Carter-Williams averaged 12.0 points against Georgetown.

The Orange point guard equaled his second highest total of dimes of his breakout season. He only had double-digit assists twice against Big East competition. Carter-Williams only had two assists to go along with 13 points in the loss to Pittsburgh on Feb. 2. The Orange meet the Panthers on Thursday.

The sophomore broke out of a shooting slump that had seen him hit just eight of his previous 32 shots (25 percent) over his previous three games. This was the third time he had hit three 3-pointers. Carter-Williams has only hit double digits in assists once in Big East play.
