Arcidiacono had 20 points and 11 assists during Saturday's 94-83 overtime win at Marquette.

Villanova all but had the game won in regulation before Arcidiocono fouled Marquette guard Todd Mayo with less than five seconds left on a three point-attempt. Mayo hit all three free throws to send the game into overtime. Despite the blunder, Arcidiacono was excellent in finding his teammates, recording more assists Saturday than he had in his previous three games combined.

Arcidiacono struggled against Louisville again on Thursday in the loss in the quarterfinals of the Big East tournament. He finished with three points on 1-of-8 from the field.

The freshman had 15 points in the win over the Cardinals earlier in the season, but he did not get much room to maneuver on Thursday. He did not attempt a free throw for just the third time this season.

Arcidiacono provided 15 points, six rebounds, and five assists Wednesday in the win over St. John's in the second round of the Big East tournament. He did have a season-high eight turnovers.

The 6-3 freshman has scored in double digits in his last seven games and has 15 or more points four times in that stretch. The Wildcats face Louisville on Thursday and Arcidiacono scored 15 points in the win over the Cardinals on Jan. 22.

The 6-3 freshman might be the biggest boom-or-bust scorers in the Big East. In his last six games, he has scored seven points or fewer four times and 23 or more twice. He is hitting 33.7 percent of his 3-pointers. When the long range shot is dropping, he is a fantasy asset, but usually he is not.
