Adams said he plans to hire an agent, so he won't be back with Pitt as they join the ACC. He has NBA-type size, but whether he can progress to be a productive professional is another question.

Adams led the Panthers with 13 points and 11 rebounds as they were beaten by Wichita State in the Round of 64 on Thursday.

Despite being a top recruit, Adams had a fairly quiet freshman season. He had just two double-doubles, but the seven-footer may still get some attention from the NBA.

Adams has had a slow start to his freshman season, but the seven-footer from New Zealand had a nice game against the undersized Wildcats. In his last three games, Adams has averaged 10.0 points and 10.3 rebounds, but the competition has not been fierce (Duquesne, North Florida, and Bethune-Cookman).
