Allen compiled 14 points (5-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt. 3-4 FT) two rebounds, one assist and two steals in 21 minutes during a win over Wake Forest on Sunday.

Over the past three games Allen has averaged an efficient 17 points and three rebounds coming off the bench for the Hokies. The junior had started the previous 13 conference games, but after a scorching end to January, Allen cooled off and only averaged eight points in the first four games of February. Allen could be finding his groove again, and with a rematch against Pittsburgh next up for Virginia Tech on Wednesday, the guard will try to duplicate the 28 points he scored against them a month ago.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Allen had 26 points, four rebounds and two assist Wednesday against Louisville.

Allen hit 6-of-13 from the floor with six of his misses coming from behind the 3-point line, and added 13-of-14 from the foul line. Allen, like most of the Hokies', is getting to the line at a high pace, having taken at least eight in four straight games. It's resulted in two 20 point games in that stretch, giving Allen some momentum heading into a Sunday game against Pittsburgh despite his 36.6 percent field goal percentage.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Allen had 13 points, four assists, two rebounds, two steals and a block Saturday at Georgia Tech.

Allen posted a nice all-around game despite hitting only one field goal. He had scored only nine total points in his last two games and has hit just 4-of-20 shots over his last three outings, making him a risky pick Wednesday at Notre Dame.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Allen had a season-high 25 points Tuesday against Northwestern, adding four rebounds, two assists and two steals.

Allen got off to a bit of a slow start, averaging 11.0 points in his first four games. He's put in 19.3 points in his last three outings and is producing like many fantasy owners and the Hokies though he would after sitting out last season as a transfer. Allen is a good bet to lead the Hokies in scoring nightly.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Allen had 13 points, four rebounds and four assists Saturday against Alabama State.

Allen hit only 2-of-9 from the floor, including 2-of-7 from the 3-point line. He had four turnovers as well in his first action since transferring from Maryland. He'll likely fair better next time out against Jacksonville State.

Allen has opted to transfer to Virginia Tech, ESPN reports.

Allen announced that he would leave Maryland earlier this month and will now make the short move to Blacksburg to play for new Hokies coach Buzz Williams. The point guard averaged 13.4 points and 3.0 assists as a sophomore last season and will have two years of eligibility remaining after he sits out the upcoming season because of NCAA transfer rules.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Allen intends to transfer from Maryland, ESPN.com reports. "I had a great two years there," Allen said. "And I'm thankful for the opportunity, but I also feel as though it's time for me to move on."

As the Terps' starting point guard last season, Allen averaged 13.4 points and 3.0 assists per game after missing 12 contests due to a broken foot. The sophomore is yet to be granted his release, but when that happens he'll likely have no shortage of potential suitors. Allen is the fourth Maryland player to leave the program since the end of the 2013-14 season, joining Roddy Peters, Shaq Cleare and Nick Faust.

Allen led the Terps with 20 points on 7-of-17 shooting in Sunday's stunning 79-75 win over Virginia.

Allen also tallied two rebounds, two dimes and a block against the Cavaliers. He is averaging 13.2 points, 2.1 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game as a sophomore.
