Webster matched a season-high with 23 points (6-11 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 10-12 FT), adding eight rebounds and two assists in Sunday's loss to Virginia Tech.

Getting to the charity stripe has been key for Webster this season, as each time he has attempted double-digit free throws, he has surpassed 20 points. The senior guard has increased his scoring output by more than seven points per game this year, and much of that can be attributed to an impressive 52.6 percent shooting from the field. It will be intriguing to see if Webster can sustain that pace once Big Ten play begins.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Webster had a season-high 23 points (5-11 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 11-12 FT) to go along with six rebounds and four assists in Saturday's victory over LA Tech.

Through three games, Webster leads the Cornhuskers in scoring at 17.7 PPG, establishing himself as a fantasy commodity that won't be going away any time soon. The senior guard entered the 2016-17 as one of the team's most improved players according to head coach Tim Miles, and this has only been proven true over the team's opening weeks. Although Jack McVeigh (14.7 PPG) and Glynn Watson Jr. (10.3 PPG) will get their opportunities, the Nebraska offense will sink or swim this season based on the output of Webster.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Webster has taken a "big leap" from his 2015-16 season according to head coach Tim Miles, Nathan Baird of the Lafayette Journal & Courier reports.

Webster was a double-digit scorer (10.1 PPG) for the Huskers last season, but as one of the few remaining upperclassmen, he appears poised to take on a bigger role. With Andrew White shipping off to Syracuse and the departure of fellow scoring threat Shavon Shields, there should be plenty of opportunities for a player like Webster to pile up counting stats in the upcoming year.
