Thornwell had 20 points (5-11 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 9-13 FT), five rebounds and two steals in Wednesday's 57-53 victory over Florida.

The Gamecocks are undefeated with Thornwell in the lineup, with their only three losses coming during a six-game stretch while he was suspended. The senior guard leads the team in scoring (18.2 PPG), rebounding (6.9 RPG), assists (3.3 APG) and steals (2.5 SPG) and is shooting a solid 45.4 percent from the field. Thornwell's efforts may have landed South Carolina at first place in the SEC, but their undefeated conference record will be put on the line Saturday when the team heads to Lexington for a showdown against Kentucky.

Thornwell had 22 points (6-12 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 9-10 FT), five rebounds, four assists and four steals in Wednesday's victory over Tennessee.

Thornwell has come back stronger following a six-game suspension, as the senior is averaging 19.0 PPG and 7.7 RPG over three SEC contests -- both better than his prior marks. Thornwell is also shooting 48 percent from the field, 47 percent from deep, and 84 percent from the free-throw line, all of which are career highs. The Gamecocks will host Texas A&M this Saturday and are undefeated when Thornwell is in the lineup.
