Johnson has comitted to Western Kentucky, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.

Johnson will be eligible to play immediately, and will provide an immediate scoring threat to a Western Kentucky team that struggled in C-USA play last season. The transfer senior averaged 11.3 points and 2.5 rebounds per game last season while shooting 40 percent from three-point range.

Johnson has decided to transfer for graduate school, making him eligible to play immediately, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.

Johnson started in 25 games for Washington State last season, averaging 11.3 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.2 assists over 31 total appearances. He managed to see just under 26 minutes per game last season and is likely transferring to land with a more competitive program, considering that the Cougars ended the year on a 17-game losing streak.

Johnson contributed 20 points, three rebounds and four assists Wednesday as Washington State fell to Washington 99-91 on the road in Seattle.

Johnson knocked down a team-high four 3-pointers and made 2-of-4 free throws to finish as Washington State's second-leading scorer and one of two Cougars reaching 20 points on Wednesday night. The guard from Pontiac, MI also posted three rebounds for a third consecutive appearance and matched Ike Iroegbu and Charles Callison for second-most assists by a WSU player the defeat, WSU's 16th straight loss. The junior continues to show well in the latter part of the regular-season, now topping 13 points six of his last seven showings and averaging 16.4 points a start in games played since Feb. 11. Johnson rounds out his current stat line against Pac-12 competition with a median 2.7 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 25.7 minutes as well.

Johnson led Washington State in scoring (19 points) and totaled three rebounds and a single takeaway Wednesday as the Cougars fell to Oregon 76-62 at home.

Johnson shot over 50 percent from the field for a second straight appearance and knocked down a game-high four 3-pointers to top all Washington State scorers on Wednesday night. The junior also pulled down multiple rebounds for the third time in five outings and logged his fourth steal of February in the loss. Johnson extends a streak of showings having reached double figures to five and, thanks in no small part to converting eight of his last 10 shots from long range, finds himself currently averaging 14.3 points a game for the month. A serviceable 3.1 rebounds and an assist in 29.3 minutes playing time rounds out the guard's overall numbers in those same contests as well.

Johnson knocked down a game- and season-high four 3-pointers and went a perfect 3-of-3 from the foul line to top Washington State in scoring (17 points) in Sunday's contest. The junior also totaled at least one rebound for the ninth time in as many appearances and his third takeaway in four showings in the loss. The guard has now reached double figures in each of the Cougars' last four matchups, leaving him to join Josh Hawkinson and Ike Iroegbu as one of only three WSU players currently registering 10+ points a start for the year. To his overall numbers against conference foes, Johnson adds 2.5 rebounds in 23.7 minutes playing time.

Johnson topped all Washington State scorers with 13 points and recorded a rebound, assist and steal each Sunday as the Cougars fell to Utah 88-47 on the road in Salt Lake City.

Johnson converted 6-of-13 field goals and a single free throw to finish with 13 points and the better of two Cougars reaching double figures on Sunday. The junior also recorded his lowest rebound total (1) since Jan. 21, but tallied his second takeaway in as many appearances in the loss. The guard, who has paced WSU in scoring in each of his last two showings, has now bested 10 points in five of his last six starts and is currently averaging 12.5 points a game in February. A combined 12 rebounds, four assists and two steals rounds out his current numbers for the month as well.

Johnson matched Josh Hawkinson with a game-high eight made field goals and converted 8-of-13 field goals to equal a personal-best 25 points in Thursday's contest. The junior also notched his second-best rebound total (6) of 2015-16, his second and third rebounds for the month of February and his fourth takeaway to this point in conference play in the loss. The guard has now reached double figures in four of his last five appearances, boosting his points per game average versus conference opposition to 9.9. Johnson's 2.6 rebounds versus league foes finds him currently tied with Conor Clifford as the Cougars' fifth best player off the glass this year as well.

Johnson fell below 40 percent shooting (3-of-13, including 1-of-3 from long distance) for the second time in five appearances on Wednesday, yet still managed to finish one of three Washington State players to eclipse double figures against Arizona. The guard also added his best rebound total (3) in three starts and his fifth assist in four appearances in the loss. The 6-5, 205-pound junior heads into a Feb. 6 matchup with Arizona State now averaging 9.8 points a game as a 36.7 percent shooter (41.4 percent from 3-point range) versus conference foes. Johnson also adds a respectable 2.3 rebounds in 21.8 minutes playing time to his current stat line in Pac-12 play.
