Johnson produced 10 points and tallied three rebounds and an assist Wednesday as Washington State fell to Arizona 79-64 at home in Pullman.

Johnson fell below 40 percent shooting (3-of-13, including 1-of-3 from long distance) for the second time in five appearances on Wednesday, yet still managed to finish one of three Washington State players to eclipse double figures against Arizona. The guard also added his best rebound total (3) in three starts and his fifth assist in four appearances in the loss. The 6-5, 205-pound junior heads into a Feb. 6 matchup with Arizona State now averaging 9.8 points a game as a 36.7 percent shooter (41.4 percent from 3-point range) versus conference foes. Johnson also adds a respectable 2.3 rebounds in 21.8 minutes playing time to his current stat line in Pac-12 play.

Johnson scored 12 points (4-10 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 1-2 FT) to go along with two rebounds in 23 minutes versus UCLA on Saturday.

The only other Cougar to outscore this reserve guard was starter Ike Iroegbu as Washington State was decisively blown out by UCLA by over 30 points. The Cougars will look to end their seven-game losing streak versus Arizona on Wednesday.

Johnson scored 14 points and added three rebounds, three assists and a steal to his overall numbers Friday as Washington State defeated New Mexico 82-59 for seventh place in the Diamond Head Classic in Honolulu, HI.

Johnson on Friday converted 6-of-9 field goals, including two 3-pointers, to finish Washington State's third-leading scorer and with his best point output in seven appearances. The junior also accounted for three of 29 rebounds, three of 27 assists and one of six steals the Cougars recorded in the victory. The guard heads into the start of conference play on Jan. 1 having eclipsed double figures in three of his last five appearances and is one of three WSU players currently averaging 10+ points an outing. Johnson adds 2.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists a game to his overall numbers as well.

Johnson led Washington State with 18 points and produced five rebounds and a block Wednesday as the Cougars fell to Gonzaga 69-60 at home in Pullman.

Johnson converted 8-of-14 shots from the floor (1-of-2 from long range) and his only free throw to finish Washington State's leading scorer and just shy of a career high 21 points in Wednesday's contest. The junior also accounted for five of 33 rebounds and one of eight blocks the Cougars recorded in the loss. The Pontiac, MI native heads into a Sunday match up with Portland State currently averaging 11.8 points and three rebounds in 23.8 minutes playing time per game.
