Gordon collected seven points (3-5 FG, 1-2 FT), eight rebounds and two assists in Thursday’s four-point loss to Arizona.

Gordon’s seven points and eight rebounds hover right around his season averages of 7.2 PPG and 7.6 RPG. The last time Gordon scored 10-plus points dates back to Feb. 17. While Gordon does not necessarily put up a ton of points, his rebounding numbers far outweigh any drawbacks in his game. Gordon has snatched 10-plus boards in nine games this season.

With Kansas likely to put plenty of defensive pressure on Buddy Hield, things could open up for Isaiah Cousins, who can contribute in a number of categories.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Gordon finished Colorado's leading scorer with 17 points, pulled down a game-high 13 rebounds and led his team in blocked shots (4) Saturday as the Buffaloes edged out Washington 81-80 at home in Boulder.

Gordon converted 4-of-8 shots from the field and a personal-best nine free throws to finish Colorado's leading scorer and with a career-high 17 points in Saturday's matchup. The junior also topped all players off the glass (13 rebounds) and and recorded the most blocked shots (4) by a Buffalo in the victory. The forward has proven himself a laudable replacement for the injured Josh Scott (ankle) over CU's last three outings, averaging 15 points and 12 rebounds a showing and combining for six total takeaways over that span on time. That finds Gordon now averaging 8.1 points a start versus conference foes and currently ranked third-best in the Pac-12 as a shot blocker. A stunning 8.1 steals a contest rounds out the Colorado Springs, CO native's current stat line in league play.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Gordon scored 15 points and led all Colorado players off the glass with 12 rebounds Thursday as the Buffaloes held off Washington State 88-81 in double overtime at home in Boulder.

Gordon recorded his best field goal conversion percentage (75) to date in Pac-12 play to both finish as Colorado's second-leading scorer and match a season-high 15 points on Thursday. The junior also paced the Buffaloes with 12 rebounds in the victory to register his second double-double in as many appearances and his third since the first of January. Gordon has now reached double figures in back-to-back outings, this after tallying a string of six straight showings with eight points or less. That leaves the forward continuing to average just 7.7 points a game versus conference foes, but likely to enjoy a dramatic boost in that figure as long as Josh Scott remains sidelined with an injured ankle. Gordon's 7.7 rebounds and 1.8 blocks a start against league opponents, largely formulated with Scott healthy and the focal point of CU's starting rotation, only makes the 6-9, 240-pounder an even more intriguing fantasy option heading into the second weekend of February.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Gordon scored 13 points and pulled down a game-high 11 rebounds Saturday as Colorado fell to Oregon State 60-56 on the road in Corvallis.

Gordon shot 5-of-9 from the field and 3-of-4 from the foul line to both tally his best scoring total (13 points) in conference play this season and finish as Colorado's second-leading scorer in Saturday's contest. The junior also pulled down a game-high 11 rebounds in the loss to register his second double-double of the year versus a Pac-12. The forward's point production against Oregon State admittedly does little to improve an unremarkable average of 6.6 points a game in league matchups. Still, the fact the 6-9, 240-pounder currently trails only Scott as the Buffaloes' top player off the glass and Oregon's Chris Boucher and Washington's Malik Dime as the conference's top shot blocker should provide plenty of reason for fantasy owners to pause when evaluating Gordon's overall value as a potential reserve player.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Gordon scored 11 points and tallied a team-high nine rebounds and a block Friday as Colorado fell to California 79-65 on the road in Berkeley.

Gordon converted just 3-of-9 field goals, but 5-of-8 free throws to finish Colorado's second-leading scorer (11 points) in Friday's contest. The junior also topped all Buffaloes with nine rebounds and recorded a single block in the loss. The junior heads into a Jan. 3 contest with Stanford having finished in double figures in two of his last three appearances and now averaging 7.1 points a game, sixth-best for CU. The forward currently paces Tad Boyle's squad in rebounds (6.9) and ranks fourth in the Pac-12 for blocks (2.1 an outing), however.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Gordon (knee) scored 10 points to go with six rebounds and three blocks in Tuesday's win over Penn State.

Gordon had been dealing with a knee injury coming into Tuesday and was considered a game-time decision at best, but the junior forward played a full compliment of minutes against the Nittany Lions. He'll have a quick turnaround, however, as the Buffs will be back in action Wednesday against SMU.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Gordon injured his knee in the first half of Saturday's 95-53 win over Hampton and did not return in the second, the Associated Press reports.

While Gordon sat out the the second half of Saturday's contest with a banged up knee, the good news is head coach Tad Boyle doesn't believe the injury is anything that can't be cured with a little ice and rest. Fantasy owners should thus expect to see the junior forward, who is currently averaging 6.6 points, 7.2 rebounds and 1.1 assists an outing, back on the hardwood in time for a Tuesday match up with Penn State. Gordan manufactured two points, a rebound, an assist and a block in 11 minutes playing time before exiting Saturday's game.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Gordon is averaging 10.3 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks per game over Colorado's last four contests.

The 6-9 junior has been on a tear recently, averaging a double-double in his last four performances. During this streak he has dominated the other in-state schools, posting a season-high 15 points against Colorado State, as well as a season-high 15 rebounds versus Northern Colorado. Gordon has had a strong presence in the paint this year, as shown by his team-high 2.1 blocks per game and second-best 7.9 rebounds per game. The Colorado Springs native will look to stay hot when the Buffaloes take on Nicholls State in Boulder.
