Garrett opened his senior campaign with 26 points in an exhibition win over Rockhurst on Friday. He was perfect in 14 trips to the free throw line.

Garrett is a fourth-year starter for the Blue Demons and he hopes to help the team win more games in conference. DePaul has won just 12 conference games over the last three seasons. Garrett has averaged at least 12.3 points and 3.0 assists in each season.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Garrett (right leg) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against Marquette, The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Garrett was seen in a walking boot while the rest of his teammates took the floor for warmups, which all but ensured that he would not play Saturday. The Blue Demons will deploy Aaron Simpson, Eli Cain, and Darrick Wood as their starting guards against Marquette.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Garrett (foot) is in a walking boot and not taking part in pregame warmups ahead of Saturday's game against Marquette, Matt Velazquez of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports.

Given that Garrett is in a walking boot with tip-off approaching, it sounds as though he won't be suiting up for Saturday's matchup with Marquette. Garrett is the team's second-leading scorer and one of only two Blue Demons averaging double digit points this season (13.0). Darrick Wood would likely take Garrett's spot in the lineup if he's unable to play Saturday.
