Williams (concussion) returned to the starting lineup for Saturday's game against New Mexico State.

The talented senior returns after missing two games due to a concussion. In the six games in which he's been healthy, Willams has averaged 20.8 points and 8.0 rebounds over 35.0 minutes of action.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Williams (concussion) is warming up ahead of Saturday's game against New Mexico State, Geoff Grammer of the Albuquerque Journal reports.

The senior has missed the last two games due to a concussion, but he was able to practice Thursday and Friday. Now that he's warming up, it's becoming increasingly likely that he'll be able to return in the near future. That said, his status for Saturday has not been confirmed one way or the other, but a further update should be available when New Mexico releases its starting lineup.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Williams (concussion) is expected to practice both Thursday and Friday, but his status for Saturday's matchup against New Mexico State remains uncertain, Geoff Grammer of the Albuquerque Journal reports.

Williams has missed back-to-back games since suffering a concussion Nov. 30 against Abilene Christian, but it sounds like there's a reasonable chance he suits up from Saturday's in-state rivalry matchup. The Lobos are currently 1-1 without their leading scorer, having to rely more on junior Elijah Brown during that stretch.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Williams (concussion) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against UTEP, Geoff Grammer of the Albuquerque Journal reports.

Williams was already held out of Saturday's game against Illinois State, but it appears he's still going through the team's concussion protocol and will be held out yet again Wednesday. He'll ultimately need to make it through a controlled practice before being cleared, so if he'll be able to do that sometime by the end of the week, there's a shot he'd be ready to give it a go in time for Saturday's tilt with New Mexico State. Joe Furstinger started for Williams in the team's most recent contest and will likely do so again Wednesday.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Williams is in the concussion protocol and will not play at Illinois State Saturday, Geoff Grammer of the Albuquerque Journal reports.

Williams was placed in the protocol on Thursday after follow-up tests with doctors determined the injury. There is a chance he can be cleared to face UTEP on Dec. 7. Joe Furstinger will get the start and looks to see the biggest jump in minutes on Saturday.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Williams scored 31 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in the win over Houston Baptist on Monday. He was 10-of-11 from the field and 11-of-12 from the line.

Williams fell one point shy of his career high in a game where everything was falling through the hoop. Elijah Brown has started the season slowly, but Williams has opened his senior campaign with a pair of double-doubles.
