Lucas is probably sick and tired of hearing about the Jayhawks' weaknesses and depth problems in the interior, so he responded by posting his third consecutive double-double in just 25 minutes on the floor. The senior also got a break due to opposing big man Nick Ward ending up in foul trouble for most of the contest. It won't be easy sledding in Thursday's Sweet Sixteen matchup against Purdue, however, as he'll have to contend with a massive frontcourt that features National Player of the Year candidate Caleb Swanigan (6-9), as well as a mountain of a man in Isaac Haas (7-2).
