Edwards led the Boilermakers with 25 points in Saturday's exhibition against Team Canada, The Herald Bulletin reports.

Edwards has entered the NBA Draft pool following each of the past two seasons, but once again elected to stay with Purdue for the 2017-18 campaign. Along with 7-foot-2 center Isaac Haas, Edwards brings tremendous scoring ability off the dribble to the 2016-17 Big Ten champions, and could put up the numbers to be fantasy relevant in nationwide formats.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Edwards decided Wednesday to withdraw from the 2017 NBA Draft and return to Purdue for his senior season, Brian Neubert of GoldandBlack.com reports.

For the second time in as many years, Edwards has pulled himself out of consideration for the draft after receiving no assurances from teams that he'd be a likely selection. Upon rejoining the Boilermakers, Edwards should reclaim a starting role at forward for the fourth consecutive season after averaging 12.6 points and ranking second on the team in assists in 2016-17.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Edwards will enter the NBA Draft but will not hire an agent, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.

Edwards not hiring an agent means he will have the option to return to Purdue for his senior season. As a junior, the forward averaged 12.6 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 3.2 assists in 28.6 minutes per game.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Edwards achieved a double-double Saturday against Iowa State, notching 21 points (9-14 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-4 FT), 10 rebounds, and four assists.

Edwards has really come alive in the NCAA tournament this year. On the season he's averaging 12.7 points per game, however in the first two rounds of the tournament he's already put up two 21-point games. His accuracy from the field has been excellent, and the Boilermakers will be looking to Edwards for more great performances moving forward.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Edwards provided 15 points (4-8 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 6-6 FT), seven rebounds, seven assists, and one steal in 37 minutes during Tuesday's win over Indiana.

Edwards has provided consistent value for Purdue over his past four games, scoring 12 or more points in each, despite not utilizing his three-point shooting ability as much as in the past. He and the Boilermakers will face Northwestern this Sunday.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Edwards recorded a game-high 26 points (8-11 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT), eight rebounds, three steals and a block in 33 minutes of action during Thursday’s road win over Indiana.

Edwards proved that he’s more than a three-point shooter when he netted a season-high 26 points in Thursday’s win over in-state rival, Indiana. The output surprised many, as he had a rough zero-point performance in the team’s win over Maryland the previous week. Currently the second place team in the Big 10, Edwards must stay hot in the final few weeks of the season if Purdue wants to win a conference title. Next up for Edwards and Purdue is a meeting with Rutgers at Mackey Arena on Tuesday.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Edwards had 17 points (6-10 FG, 5-7 3Pt) four rebounds, and two assists in Wednesday's win over Northwestern.

Edwards was coming off one of his worst outings of the season heading into Wednesday following a six-point outing in which he went 3-of-10 from the field against Nebraska. He answered by drilling five 3-pointers en route to putting up his best point total in Big Ten play. While Caleb Swanigan and Isaac Haas shoulder most of the scoring load on the inside for the Boilermakers, Edwards adds an outside dimension to Purdue's offense that makes it all the more dangerous.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Edwards scored 10 points (2-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 6-6 FT) to go along with five rebounds and four assists during Tuesday's 84-73 win over Michigan State.

Following Tuesday's performance, Edwards has now reached double figures in scoring in each of his last four contests. Overall, the junior ranks third on the team in scoring with 11.8 PPG. While much of the attention this season has centered on Caleb Swanigan, and rightfully so, Edwards is quickly garnering the national recognition that he deserves. If Purdue is going to make a deep push into March, Edwards will likely have to continue to be a main contributor.
