Pollard has been one of Dayton's most consistent performers over the past few seasons, but missed the first six games of 2016-17 due to knee and thigh problems. Saturday's showing proves the senior is ready for live action, but the team may ease the the 6-6 forward back into action by using him as a reserve. Pollard, who averaged 10.3 PPG and 4.9 RPG a season ago, will likely enter the starting lineup prior to the start of conference play, barring any setbacks to the previously-mentioned ailments.
