Sabonis converted 8-of-12 from the field for a second straight appearance and went 3-of-4 from the foul line to finish one of only two Gonzaga players topping double figures in Thursday's contest. The sophomore from Lithuania also matched his second-highest rebound total of the season as the matchup's leader off the glass and set a personal-best for blocks in the defeat. The 6-11, 240-pound forward closes out the year the Bulldogs' leader in field goal conversion percentage (61.1) and having accounted for not less than 11 points in all but four starts in 2015-16. Sabonis, who too tallied double-doubles in 11 of his final 14 starts, exits NCAA Tournament play the West Coast Conference's No. 1 in rebounds per game (11.7) and ranked seventh-best in the entire country behind the likes of Evansville's Egidijus Mockevicius, Louisiana-Lafayette's Shawn Long, Weber State's Joel Bolomboy and LSU's Ben Simmons as well.
