Yussuf (knee) did not compete Long Beach State's season opener due to an injured knee, JJ Fiddler of the Press-Telegram reports.
ANALYSIS
Yussuf had his knee scoped at the beginning of October, and was estimated to need up to six weeks in order to fully recover. He did not compete in any of Long Beach State's exhibition games, and was sidelined during their season opener as well. Although there is little information available on his status, he could potentially be returning to the lineup by Nov. 18 for the contest against West Virginia.
