While employed by Grand Canyon, Pepperdine's head coach Ed Schilling recruited Clark before he enrolled at Wake Forest for his first year. The freshman will have transferred from there. Schilling planned for Clark to "come in and lead the pack" of Pepperdine's 2024-25 team. He "looks to be more on the ball and be a primary point guard" now that the Waves no longer have Ethan Anderson as their main playmaker.
