RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bailey (undisclosed) will not play during Friday's game against the Redblacks, Jamie Nye of News Talk 980 CJME reports.

With Bailey and Naaman Roosevelt (upper body) both out, the Roughriders are looking thin in their receiving corps. As a result, reserve players such as Denzel Radford and Caleb Holley could see more targets than usual. Of note, the team also recently acquired Brett Blaszko from the Blue Bombers, where he was on the practice roster. It's possible he sees action as well. The situation should become clearer closer to Friday.

Bailey did not participate in Tuesday's practice, Taylor Shire of Global Regina reports.

No reason for Bailey's absence has currently been provided. He should be considered questionable in advance of Friday's game against the Redblacks until further notice. If he's ultimately sidelined, Denzel Radford could be the next man up.

Bailey posted three receptions for 68 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 15-9 loss to the Stampeders.

The fourth-year pro posted season bests in receptions and receiving yards, along with his second touchdown in as many weeks. Bailey has shown solid rapport with backup signal caller Brandon Bridge, which could come in handy next week against the Redblacks if the latter is forced to start in place of Kevin Glenn (hand).

Bailey (undisclosed) will dress for Sunday's tilt against the Lions, Ian Hamilton of Riderville.com reports.

Bailey, who signed with the Roughriders on Aug. 2, will suit up for Sunday's action. That said, he's not a top-three target and likely won't see a large share of receptions.

Bailey signed with the Roughridgers on Wednesday.

Bailey played in 12 games last season with Edmonton, racking up just two receptions for 83 yards and a score. He had more productive seasons in 2014 and 2015 with 17 and 14 receptions, respectively but has not scored more than one touchdown per season.

Bailey will start at wide receiver Friday against the Tiger-Cats, Dave Campbell of 630 CHED reports.

Bailey has not caught a pass this season despite playing in 10 games, but he should have extra opportunities to get on the board this week with fellow receiver Nate Coehoorn (arm) sidelined.

Bailey will make his season debut Thursday against the Alouettes after missing the Eskimos' first six games due to a concussion.

Bailey figures to slot in behind Derel Walker and Nate Coehoorn on the wide receiver depth chart at this point, as quarterback Mike Reilly gains an additional weapon in the aerial attack. Natey Adjei will lose his spot on the depth chart with Bailey back in the lineup.
