Can't hang with Manny Muro at Bellator 184
FeatherweightBellator
October 6, 2017
Rivera lost to Manny Muro via unanimous decision (27-30, 27-30, 27-30) at Bellator 184 on Friday in Thackerville, Okla.
ANALYSIS
Rivera came out looking to strike in the first round. He ate some shots early, and this seemed to convince him to fight backwards. He continued to land solid strikes, but he was basically in a backpedal for the majority of the fight. Muro pressed forward and pushed the action. The forward movement allowed Muro to land the better strikes and sway the judges. After beginning his professional career with six straight wins, Rivera has now lost back-to-back fights.

Takes a one-side decision
FeatherweightBellator
March 3, 2017
Rivera defeated Treston Thomison via unanimous decision (30-26, 30-27, 30-27) at Bellator 174 in Thackerville, Okla. on Friday.
ANALYSIS
Rivera was one step ahead for the whole fight. He had the better footwork, stuck to the outside and landed virtually at will. Thomison was game, but he simply could not land. He ate a ton of shots and never was close to finishing the fight. Rivera should probably take a step up in competition after this fight.
