Outlook
Kahne could be the most notable downturn candidate in 2010. The Richard Petty Motorsports star will have to endure yet another team merger and name change in the upcoming season. Add to that a manufacturer change from Dodge to Ford. Too many variables are in motion here to not be cautiously optimistic. Kahne has shown consistency issues throughout his brief Sprint Cup career, so look for a fall off in his performance in light of the Petty/Yates merger in the new season.
