RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Thomas tallied nine points (3-9 FG, 3-3 FT), seven rebounds and one steal across 27 minutes during Sunday's 81-70 loss to the Sparks.

Thomas' streak of double-digit scoring efforts, which began back on July 16 against the Stars, came to a halt Sunday. She also took less than 10 shots for the first time in four games. The performance is somewhat disappointing from a fantasy perspective, though with the Sun heading into the playoffs and the game getting out of hand, there was seemingly no reason for Thomas to push herself.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Thomas tallied a career-high 26 points (9-20 FG, 8-13 FG), 10 rebounds and five assists across 36 minutes during Tuesday's 86-76 victory over the Mystics.

Thomas put on a show during Tuesday's victory, securing a double-double in addition to her career-high 26 points. She didn't slouch in the assist column either, slightly surpassing her season average of 4.7 dimes per game. The fourth-year forward is having a breakout campaign, posting career highs in points (14.9), rebounds (6.8), assists and steals (1.6) per game. She's also making a career-best 50.7 percent of her shots from the field. Thomas is one of the most well-rounded frontcourt players in the WNBA and is a sleeper triple-double threat on any given night. Overall, she's a top-tier option worthy of DFS consideration seemingly every time the Sun roll the ball out.

August 24, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Thomas tallied 23 points (8-16 FG, 7-13 FT), seven rebounds, five assists and one steal across 36 minutes during Wednesday's 93-87 victory over the Wings.

Thomas' impressive performance Wednesday continues cementing her reputation as one of the WNBA's best fantasy options. Capable of filling up the stat sheet on any given night, she posts 14.6 points, 6.9 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 1.6 steals across 30.0 minutes per appearance.

August 19, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Thomas provided 10 points (4-10 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-7 FT), eight rebounds, five assists and three steals across 32 minutes during Friday's 82-70 loss to the Liberty.

Thomas, after setting multiple season highs Aug. 12 against the Wings, has come back down to earth over the past two contests, though has still provided well-rounded games. Over the past two games, she's provided a combined 20 points, 12 rebounds, 11 assists and four steals across 55 minutes. While that's subpar production by her standards, the sample size certainly isn't big enough to declare anything a trend.

August 13, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Thomas tallied a season-high 21 points (9-15 FG, 3-5 FT), a season-high 13 rebounds and four assists across 34 minutes during Saturday's 96-88 victory over the Wings.

Thomas is one of the best all-around DFS options available, and she showed off her bag of tricks Saturday, securing her first 20-point/10-rebound game of the season. Though she's racked up just three double-doubles this season, she's always a threat to snag one, and certainly a sleeper threat to drop a triple-double considering her averages of 14.5 points, 6.7 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game. Thomas is no stranger to big two-way efforts as well, as her 1.6 steals per game ranks sixth in the WNBA.

August 9, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Thomas recorded 17 points (7-14 FG, 3-5 FT), eight rebounds, three assists, one steal and one turnover across 30 minutes during Tuesday's 71-84 win over the Storm.

Once again, Thomas put together another full stat line, nearly picking up a double-double in the process. Her all-around production is highly coveted in fantasy contests, so Thomas will continue to be a fantastic option to consider when she takes the court. That's only further boosted by the fact that Thomas is heating up of late, as she's shot 50 percent from the field or higher in four straight games.

July 30, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Thomas finished with 14 points, five rebounds, eight assists and four steals across just 23 minutes in Sunday's victory over the Fever.

With the Sun winning in dominating fashion, Thomas saw her minutes limited to her lowest time since late May, but that didn't stop her from having yet another great all-around performance Sunday. In fact, it was the first time all season that the wing managed to produce such a stat line. Expect Thomas to continue to be a consistent contributor across all categories, with her ability to rack up steals adding to her upside.

July 25, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Thomas posted 20 points (6-9 FG, 8-8 FT), nine rebounds, five assists and one steal across 27 minutes during Tuesday's 93-72 victory over the Sky.

Thomas continued to demonstrate on Tuesday why she's one of the best all-around players in the WNBA, being one of only two players to average at least 13 points, six rebounds and four assists per game -- the other being legend Candace Parker. She's also contributing on the defensive side of the rock, posting an impressive 1.6 steals per game. She's also shown consistency throughout the season, with her numbers rarely fluctuating too far one way or another on any given night. It's safe to say that Thomas is one of the best frontcourt options available in DFS, considering her threat to flirt with a triple-double, consistent box scores and stable workload.

July 20, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Thomas is averaging 13.6 points, 6.3 rebounds. 4.8 assists and 1.6 steals per game at the All-Star break.

In her fourth WNBA season, Thomas is at her best, as she's established herself as one of the best all-around players in the entire league. As of now, she is one of only two players in the entire league to average at least 13 points, six rebounds and four assists, with All-Star Candace Parker being the other. Thomas has been a reliable fantasy option all season given her ability to produce across the box score on a consistent basis.

July 17, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Thomas posted 13 points (6-13 FG, 1-3 FT) and a team-high nine points to go with two assists and two steals across 26 minutes in Sunday's victory against San Antonio.

Thomas was just one rebound shy of recording her third double-double of the season, although she's come incredibly close to numerous double-doubles countless times this season. If she's not cleaning up on the boards, Thomas has the ability to make up for it in steals or assists. The forward is extremely versatile and has proved to be a consistent scorer for the Sun this season. With her averages of 13.8 points, 6.5 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 1.6 steals across 30.2 minutes per game, Thomas should certainly be considered a top-tier fantasy option.

July 13, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Thomas tallied 13 points (4-11 FG, 5-8 FT), eight rebounds, five assists, and a team-high six turnovers across 31 minutes in Wednesday's game against the Storm.

Thomas proves to be a consistent scorer for the Suns, as she's had 12 straight contests in double figures and continues to average a high number of assists and rebounds. The one downfall Thomas may have, however, is that she's likely to commit turnovers; she holds a season-high seven turnovers and has recorded at least one turnover each game across her 2017 season. Nonetheless, with her averages of 14.1 points, 6.2 rebounds, 5.1 assists, and 1.5 steals across 30.6 minutes, she remains a viable DFS option on a regular basis.

July 9, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Thomas posted 19 points, five rebounds, five assists, two steals and one block across 32 minutes in Saturday's victory over the Mystics.

Thomas continues to be a model of consistency for the Suns, as Saturday's performance marked her 11th straight game with at least 12 points. However, what continues to make Thomas special is her ability to pass the ball in the frontcourt, as she has now recorded at least five assists in seven of her last eight outings. With averages of 14.2 points, 6.1 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game this season, Thomas' ability to contribute across the box score put her among the most reliable DFS options in the league.

July 6, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Thomas recorded 13 points (5-11 FG, 3-4 FT), eight rebounds, five assists, and a season-high seven steals across 25 minutes in Wednesday's win against the Stars.

Thomas had an all-around impressive outing on Wednesday, helping out across the board. Her seven steals were especially remarkable considering that she's averaging just 1.6 steals per tilt and her season-high had been three steals prior to Wednesday's game. Thomas' performance on Wednesday displays her versatility as a player, meaning she should be considered a DFS threat.

July 2, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Thomas tallied 15 points (7-13 FG, 1-2 FT), seven rebounds, eight assists, two steals and five turnovers across 27 minutes during Saturday's 91-85 win over the Fever.

Thomas was outstanding with her all-around production Saturday, nearly coming up with a triple-double, while notching her ninth straight game in double-figure scoring. That all-around production is what continues to make her a solid fantasy option on any given night, so she'll be someone to consider every time she's on the floor. Thomas is now averaging 13.9 points, 6.1 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 1.2 steals across 30.8 minutes per game.

June 30, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Thomas tallied 17 points (8-11 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-3 FT), nine assists, five rebounds and two steals across 32 minutes during Thursday's 96-89 victory over the Storm.

Over the past five outings, Thomas is posting 16.2 points on 57.6 percent shooting, 7.4 rebounds, 6.6 assists and 1.0 steal across 33.0 minutes per game. With those kinds of numbers, Thomas should be strongly considered in DFS any night that the Sun take the floor. It's difficult to find that kind of all-around statistical production, which is highly valuable in fantasy.

June 28, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Thomas finished Tuesday's 87-79 loss to the Sparks with 13 points (4-9 FG, 5-6 FT), 11 rebounds, three assists, one steal and seven turnovers across 31 minutes.

While the seven turnovers may have dampened her overall fantasy line, Thomas still had a very solid showing all around, as she was able to pick up her second double-double of the season. She's really picked up the pace on the boards of late and is already a prolific scorer, so look for Thomas to be an intriguing fantasy option any time she's on the floor. Thomas is averaging 13.1 points, 6.1 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.1 steals across 30.1 minutes on the season.

June 27, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Thomas tallied 19 points (8-11 FG, 3-7 FT), five rebounds, five assists and two steals across 30 minutes during Sunday's 96-82 loss to the Wings.

Thomas has been on a roll over the past six contests, scoring less than 18 points only once. She's also stayed on track with her passing and rebounding, averaging 5.7 assists and 5.5 boards over that stretch. Overall, she's playing well, but continues to struggle with her free-throw shooting, hitting just 52.5 percent of her shots from the charity stripe. It hasn't seemed to affect her overall statistical production too much, however, and remains a relatively safe DFS option for the time being.

June 19, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Thomas posted a season-high 20 points (9-15 FG, 2-3 FT), eight rebounds, eight assists and one block over 35 minutes in Saturday's victory over the Lynx.

It was Thomas's strongest performances of the season so far, as her eight assists were also a season-high. Thomas has been very solid over the course of her last four contests, having averaged 18.5 points per game over that stretch after failing to score in double figures in four of her first five games. Thomas has also been a reliable contributor in both assists and rebounds this season, making her a very intriguing DFS option so long as she keeps up the strong work in the scoring column.

June 15, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Thomas posted 18 points (6-12 FG, 6-8 FT), six rebounds, five assists, and three steals across 33 minutes in Wednesday's win over New York.

Wednesday's performance marks Thomas' third straight game with 18 points, making her a consistent scoring threat and valuable fantasy option. The forward is currently averaging 12.4 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.6 steals across 29.4 minutes per contest.

June 11, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Thomas finished with 18 points (7-14 FG, 4-8 FT), three rebounds, two steals, one assist and one block across 31 minutes during Saturday's 104-71 blowout victory over the Dream.

Thomas has been relatively up and down this season, tallying three games with 17 points or greater and four games in single-digits. While this has likely been frustrating for those who have deployed her in DFS consistently, Saturday marked the first time this season that Thomas has strung together two double-digit scoring efforts, so it may be a sign of better things to come for the fourth-year forward. Aside from her scoring, she does demonstrate fantasy value in other areas of her game, as she averages 4.7 boards, 3.6 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.0 blocks per game. So, when Thomas manages to put it all together on one night, she can have a huge fantasy impact.

June 6, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Thomas finished with 18 points (7-14 FG, 4-6 FT), two rebounds, seven assists, three steals, four blocks and two turnovers across 34 minutes during Saturday's 85-77 win over the Stars.

After struggling to just eight points in the team's previous outing, Thomas had far and away her best outing of the season Saturday, posting season-highs in points, assists, steals and blocks. She shot 50 percent from the field, which helped up her season average through six games to 45.3 percent. Thomas should continue to hover around that 30-minutes mark and if she can have more all-around performances like Saturday, she should see an increase in her fantasy value.

June 1, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Thomas recorded eight points (4-8 FG, 0-1 FT), two rebounds three assists and three turnovers across 20 minutes during Wednesday's 76-78 loss to the Mystics.

While the reasoning remains uncertain, Thomas logged a season-low 20 minutes Wednesday despite shooting fifty percent from the field. She was still able to log eight points, but she struggled elsewhere with just two rebounds and three assists, which really hurt her overall fantasy performance. Thomas is averaging 27.4 minutes per game on the year, so as long as she's back on her usual workload come Saturday's tilt with the Stars, look for Thomas to potentially have a better all-around showing.

May 29, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Thomas posted 17 points (6-12 FG, 5-10 FT), 10 rebounds, five assists, two steals, one turnover and one block across 34 minutes during Sunday's 97-79 win over the Sky.

After struggling to just five points during Friday's tilt with the Lynx, Thomas had a fantastic bounce-back effort Sunday, logging multiple season highs and earning her first double-double of the 2017 campaign. The only negative was five missed free throws, but she was still able to tally 17 points and shoot 50 percent from the field, which is a nice confidence booster for the fourth-year forward. Thomas has been a solid contributor on the boards all season, so if she can become a more consistent scorer, she'll be an intriguing fantasy play most nights.

May 24, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Thomas (concussion) finished Tuesday's 80-78 loss to the Lynx with eight points (4-9 FG), six rebounds, six assists, two steals and four turnovers across 31 minutes.

Thomas missed the team's last game because of a concussion, but was cleared to play ahead of Tuesday's contest and was able to rejoin the starting lineup. She went on to post a solid all-around effort and the fact that she played a full 31 minutes likely means she's not dealing with any lingering effects of her concussion. Look for her to see a full workload moving forward as a starter and be relied upon as a cross-category contributor, although the eight turnovers she's posted in just two games is a minor drawback.

May 23, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Thomas (concussion) will play and start in Tuesday's game against the Lynx, Kent Youngblood of the Minnesota Star Tribune reports.

Thomas was held out of Saturday's game against the Fever because of a concussion, but has finally progressed through the league-mandated protocol and has been cleared by the team's medical staff. She'll jump into the starting lineup right away and should be in line for her usual workload. In the season opener, Thomas posted seven points, five rebounds, three assists, one steal, one block and four turnovers across 28 minutes.

May 22, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Thomas is still day-to-day and remains in the league-mandated concussion protocol, HooopFeed.com reports.

Thomas was held out of Saturday's game against the Fever after picking up a concussion earlier in the week and has yet to be cleared for a return by the Sun's medical staff. She'll likely need to take part in the team's shootaround Tuesday morning before being given the green light to take the court, but another update may not come until just before tip off against the Lynx later that night. Thomas can tentatively be considered questionable for that contest.

May 19, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Thomas is listed as day-to-day due to a concussion and should be considered questionable for Saturday's tilt against the Fever, Hoopfeed.com reports.

Thomas, who provided seven points (2-5 FG, 3-9 FT), five rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block across 28 minutes during the Sun's season opener, is questionable for Saturday's tilt against the Fever with a concussion. Lynetta Kizer could be in line for a start if Thomas ultimately remains sidelined for Saturday's contest.

May 3, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Thomas collected eight points (4-7 FG), five rebounds, an assist and a steal in Tuesday's exhibition victory over Chicago.

Entering her fourth season with the Sun, Thomas is looking to build of averages of 11.1 points and 6.0 rebounds from 2016. With Chiney Ogwumike (Achilles) set to miss the entire 2017 season due to injury, Thomas and the likes of Jaquel Jones will be relied upon more heavily in the frontcourt. This can only help the rebounding numbers for Thomas, who already set a career-best mark last season, and has averaged 5.5 boards per contest over her first three seasons in the league.
