RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Fowles finished with 13 points (5-9 FG, 3-4 FT), 17 rebounds, four steals and two blocks across 36 minutes during Tuesday's 70-68 victory over the Sparks.

Fowles has been dominant on the glass over the past three games, totaling a combined 44 boards. She's also been a defensive force all throughout the playoffs, posting 1.8 blocks and 1.8 steals per contest. Though Wednesday's 13 points were the fewest she's scored in these playoffs, she still shot over 50 percent from the field.

September 26, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Fowles finished with 22 points (10-15 FG, 2-3 FT), 13 rebounds, three blocks, one assist and one steal across 36 minutes during Sunday's 85-84 loss to the Sparks.

Fowles' dominant regular season is spilling over into the postseason, as she's now posting 20.5 points, 10.8 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.7 blocks and 1.2 steals per game in the playoffs. She has yet to record less than 17 points and seven rebounds in any playoff game this year, giving her one of the higher floors of any fantasy option at this point in the year.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Fowles finished with 17 points (7-12 FG, 3-7 FT), 14 rebounds, two steals and one assist across 34 minutes during Sunday's 81-70 victory over the Mystics.

Fowles, who averaged 18.9 points and 10.4 rebounds in the regular season, collected her first double-double of the 2017 playoffs Sunday. Her fantasy impact was dampened by her five turnovers, however, though that's not usually an issue for the veteran. With the victory, the Lynx advance to the Finals and will face off against the Sparks. She played well against Los Angeles during the regular season, averaging 18.0 points, 13.3 rebounds, 2.3 blocks and 1.7 assists across 38.0 minutes per game while shooting 58.1 percent from the field.

September 15, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Fowles finished with 25 points (12-16 FG, 1-3 FT), nine rebounds, four assists and four blocks across 36 minutes during Thursday's 93-83 victory over the Mystics.

The WNBA MVP, who received her award before the game, demonstrated why she was given the hardware Thursday. She's certainly pulled her weight during the first two games of the series, averaging 21.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 2.0 blocks and 1.0 steal per contest. There should be little doubt that Fowles is one of the best DFS options available.

September 13, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Fowles finished with 18 points (8-13 FG, 2-3 FT), seven rebounds, two steals and one assist across 31 minutes during Tuesday's 101-81 victory over the Mystics.

Fowles made easy work of the Mystics on Tuesday as the Lynx cruised to a 20-point victory. She was generally conservative against the Mystics during the regular season, posting just 15.7 points on 10.3 field-goal attempts while handing out 4.0 assists per game over the teams' three matchups. But, that certainly wasn't the case Tuesday.

September 5, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Fowles finished with five points (2-6 FG, 1-4 FT), eight rebounds and five assists across 27 minutes during Sunday's 86-72 victory in the regular season finale.

Though Fowles saw near her average workload of 30.8 minutes per game, she seemed to be taking it easy, putting up just six shots and making sure to get her teammates involved. That's not exactly surprising considering neither she nor the team wanted to risk an injury heading into the postseason, especially as the No.1 seed. Overall, she was dominant in 2017, posting 18.9 points, 10.4 boards, 1.9 blocks, 1.5 assists and 1.2 steals per game.

September 1, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Fowles and the Lynx came to terms Friday on a multi-year contract extension.

The details of the contract have not been released, but the expectation is that Fowles will remain in Minnesota for the foreseeable future. The MVP candidate is enjoying an excellent season, totaling 19 double-doubles and averaging 19.1 points and 10.4 rebounds per game. A six-time All-Defensive First-Team selection, Fowles has also won the Defensive Player of the Year award three times.

August 29, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Fowles finished with 17 points (8-13 FG, 1-2 FT), 14 rebounds and one assist across 39 minutes during Sunday's 78-67 loss to the Sparks.

Fowles recorded her third consecutive double-double Sunday, bolstering her reputation as one of the league's best players. That said, her scoring has hit a bit of a rough patch lately. She's posted just 14.8 points per game over the past five contests compared to her season average of 19.4 points per game. It seems doubtful that will continue much longer considering her skill as a player.

August 23, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Fowles tallied 14 points (7-13 FG), 10 rebounds, three steals and two blocks across 28 minutes during Tuesday's 105-69 blowout victory over the Mercury.

While she failed to eclipse her season averages in points (19.7), rebounds (10.2) and assists (1.3), Fowles still racked up a solid double-double as her team cruised to a blowout victory. It's wasn't exactly the game those who deployed her in DFS were likely hoping for, but she still managed to provide solid value.

August 18, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Fowles tallied 13 points (6-15 FG, 1-2 FT), 13 rebounds, four blocks, two assists and one steal across 35 minutes during Wednesday's 62-61 loss to the Storm.

While Fowles didn't manage to reach her scoring average on the season (20.2), she put in enough work on the glass and defensively to make up for it. She's been rebounding well as of late, collecting at least 12 rebounds in five of her past six appearances. She's also swatted a combined 11 blocks over the past three contests. Overall, Fowles continues to be one of the best fantasy options night in and night out.

August 12, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Fowles posted 17 points (8-15 FG, 1-2 FT), 13 rebounds, three blocks, two assists and one steal across 38 minutes during Friday's 70-64 loss to the Sparks.

Other than one blemish on Aug. 6 against the Fever where she managed only six points, Fowles has been excellent as of late. Over the past six contests, she's scored at least 25 points in four and reached double-digit boards in three. That's nothing wildly unexpected from Fowles, however, as she's one of the best frontcourt players in the WNBA. On the season, she's recording 20.7 points, 10.0 rebounds, 2.0 blocks, 1.4 assists and 1.3 steals across 30.5 minutes per appearance.

August 9, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Fowles accumulated 27 points (7-8 FG, 13-16 FT), 13 rebounds, four blocks, one steal and one assist across 33 minutes during Tuesday's 81-72 victory over the Dream.

After dropping just six points and eight rebounds across 20 minutes during Sunday's loss, Fowles wasted no time getting back on track by posting a monster statline Tuesday. It's nothing we haven't seen before from the 6-foot-6 center, however, as she's averaging a staggering 20.7 points, 10.0 rebounds, 2.0 blocks, 1.4 assists and 1.3 steals across 30.5 minutes per game.

August 7, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Fowles posted just six points (3-8 FG) during Sunday's 82-84 loss to the Fever, while adding eight rebounds, one block and four turnovers across 20 minutes.

Sunday was easily Fowles' worst showing of the season and while the Lynx aren't reporting any sort of injury, she played just 20 minutes, which was a season low. Fowles' six points marked her first time in single digits and that likely was a big reason the Lynx lost its third game of the year. That said, with averages of 20.4 points, 9.9 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1.9 blocks and 1.3 steals across 30.4 minutes, fantasy owners shouldn't be too concerned about Sunday's performance and the superstar center should be in line for bounce-back effort heading into Tuesday's tilt with the Dream. Fowles remains one of the best fantasy options in the WNBA.

August 3, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Fowles finished with 25 points (10-13 FG, 5-5 FT), 13 rebounds, three steals, two blocks and one assist across 36 minutes during Thursday's 69-54 win over the Dream.

Fowles has exceeded her own high standards on both sides of the rock recently, posting 25.0 points, 10.8 rebounds, 2.6 blocks, 1.4 steals and 1.2 points per game over her past five appearances. She's bound to come down to Earth eventually, but as one of the best frontcourt players in the league, that doesn't mean too much. Her latest stretch just adds fuel to the fire that has been her amazing season.

July 29, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Fowles finished with 29 points (11-15 FG, 7-10 FT), eight rebounds, three blocks, two steals and two assists across 34 minutes during Friday's 90-80 victory over the Dream.

Fowles had one of her better games of the season Friday, securing her largest point total since she dropped 30 during June 11's game against the Wings. She also recorded a combined five steals and blocks Friday, marking the first time she's done so since June 23 against the Mystics when she combined for seven steals and blocks. Overall, Fowles continues to be one of the best DFS options available in the frontcourt, posting 20.5 points, 9.7 boards, 1.9 blocks, 1.6 assists and 1.4 steals across 30.3 minutes per game.

July 26, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Fowles provided 18 points (6-9 FG, 6-6 FT), nine rebounds, four blocks and two assists across 33 minutes during Tuesday's 76-75 victory over the Liberty.

Fowles had a relatively typical -- yet still impressive -- outing Tuesday. While her four blocks were higher than her season average (1.8), Fowles hovered around her usual production of 20.0 points, 9.8 boards, 1.6 assists and 1.3 steals across 30.1 minutes per game. She should continue to be a top-tier fantasy option for the foreseeable future.

July 21, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Fowles, heading into the All-Star break, is averaging 20.1 points, 9.8 rebounds, 1.7 blocks, 1.6 assists and 1.4 steals across 29.9 minutes per game, securing a spot as a Western Conference frontcourt starter in the All-Star game.

Fowles, in her 10th season, is having one of her best years in the WNBA. She's averaging career highs in points, assists and field-goal percentage (67.1) heading into the break. Fowles, considering her All-Star worthy production, has been, and will likely continue to be, one of the best frontcourt options available in DFS.

July 19, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Fowles put together 24 points (10-11 FG, 4-7 FT), 12 rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block across 25 minutes during Wednesday's 100-74 victory over the Wings.

Despite seeing just 25 minutes in a blowout victory, Fowles dismantled the Wings, making all but one of her field-goal attempts en route to 24 points and ripping down 12 boards. Little down remains at this point that Fowles, who ranks top five in both points and assists per game, is one of the best DFS options available on any given night.

July 17, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Fowles finished with 18 points (5-9 FG, 8-9 FT), five rebounds and one block across 33 minutes during Sunday's 81-66 blowout victory over the Mercury.

With opposing center Brittany Griner (knee, ankle) down with injury, Fowles was able to take advantage and cruise to a solid game. The Mercury struggled to contain Fowles, sending her to the charity stripe often, where she finished 8-of-9. While she didn't rebound as well as we're used to seeing, considering she averages 9.7 boards per game, it certainly wasn't necessary as the Lynx blew out the Mercury. Despite her subpar rebounding effort, Fowles remains one of the best DFS frontcourt options available, as she's posting 19.9 points, 9.7 boards, 1.8 blocks, 1.6 assists and 1.4 steals across 30.2 minutes per contest.

July 15, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Fowles scored 18 points with ten rebounds in 26 minutes in Friday's win over Phoenix. She was 8-of-12 from the field.

Fowles and Minnesota bounced back from a surprising blowout loss to Chicago with an 88-71 win. It was her ninth double-double of the season. She's averaging 20 points and 10 rebounds per game, making her one of the elite DFS frontcourt plays this season.

July 9, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Fowles posted 13 points (6-7 FG), six rebounds and two blocks across 29 minutes in Saturday's loss to the Sky.

It was an efficient outing for Fowles, who shot 86 percent from the field, but she likely didn't get as many scoring opportunities as she would have liked. Nevertheless, she still managed to put in a solid enough performance and is still considered one of the elite DFS frontcourt plays this season.

July 7, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Fowles tallied 20 points (9-15 FG, 2-2 FT), 13 rebounds, four blocks and two assists across 37 minutes during Thursday's 88-77 victory over the Sparks.

Thursday marked Fowles third 20-point/10-rebound effort in four games. She continues to establish herself as one of the elite frontcourt players in the WNBA, posting 20.6 points, 10.3 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.9 blocks and 1.7 steals across 30.4 minutes per game. She is also very consistent, making her one of the safest plays available in DFS.

June 27, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Fowles dropped 22 points (6-7 FG, 10-11 FT), 10 rebounds, two assists, and a block across 25 minutes in Sunday's win over the Stars.

Fowles recorded her seventh double-double of the season on Sunday and is currently averaging a double-double with 21.0 points and 10.3 rebounds per tilt. Fowles proves to be a valuable fantasy candidate as she ranks second in both scoring and rebounding among the WNBA.

Fowles posted 12 points (5-9 FG, 2-3 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and three steals across 35 minutes in Saturday's loss to the Sun.

By her standards, it was a disappointing performance from Fowles on Saturday, as she posted her lowest point total since of the second game of the season. Nevertheless, given the center's high level of productivity as of late, she remains the premier DFS frontcourt option as one of the league's top scorers and rebounders this season.

Fowles finished with 21 points (10-15 FG, 1-3 FT), 11 rebounds, five assists and two steals across 31 minutes during Friday's 98-73 victory over the Mystics.

Fowles is continuing her tear this season, averaging 20.9 points, 10.3 rebounds and 2.0 blocks across 29.4 minutes per game. While most of what we saw during Friday's action is what we've come to expect from her at this point, she flashed an ability to pass the ball effectively as well, recording a season-high five assists. She likely won't do that too often, but considering she's averaging a double-double, fantasy owners shouldn't be too worried that the ball stays in her hands.

Fowles contributed 14 points (6-8 FG, 2-2 FT), 12 rebounds, three blocks, one steal and one assist across 23 minutes during Sunday's 80-66 victory over the Stars.

Though Fowles has played just a combined 44 minutes over the past two contests due to blowout victories, she's still managed to dominate both sides of the ball, totaling 34 points, 21 rebounds, three steals and three blocks. It looks like it could be the makings of a comeback season for the 10-year veteran, who is on pace to average 20 and 10 for the first time since the 2011 season. While there are still plenty of games to go, Fowles has shown few signs of weakness in 2017's early goings.

Fowles accumulated 20 points (7-12 FG, 6-7 FT), nine rebounds and two steals across 21 minutes during Friday's 83-68 victory over the Sun.

Despite playing just 21 minutes as a result of the blowout victory, Fowles still managed to nearly claim a 20-point 10-rebound double-double Friday. She's taken her game to a new level so far this season, averaging 21.2 points, 10.4 boards, 2.2 steals and 2.2 blocks per contest -- significantly better than last season's line of 13.9 points, 8.5 rebounds, 1.7 blocks and 1.3 steals per game. Consistent 20-and-10 games will be tough to produce throughout the season, but there aren't too many forwards playing better than Fowles right now.

Fowles posted 12 points (6-10 FG, 0-3 FT), seven rebounds, two steals and one block in Thursday's win over the Liberty.

After a terrific outing to open the season, Fowles took a minor step back in Thursday's contest, but that was mostly because the game turned into a blowout in the second half. Regardless, Fowles once again showed her ability to be productive on both ends of the floor and should still be viewed as a reliable contributor across the box score moving forward in her 10th WNBA season.
