RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Charles contributed 18 points (8-21 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 18 rebounds, three assists and one steal across 31 minutes during Sunday's 82-81 victory over the Wings.

Charles came up just one rebound shy of her season high during Sunday's regular season finale. The performance also marked the first time she's reached double-digit rebounds since she collected 12 rebounds against the Sky on July 30. Overall, it was another vintage season for the center, who's never averaged less than 15.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per game over her eight-year career. She'll look to carry the momentum of Sunday's outburst into the playoffs.

August 29, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Charles contributed 22 points (8-15 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 4-5 FT), eight rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block across 22 minutes during Sunday's 92-62 win over the Sky.

Charles, who scored a point per minute, and the Liberty made easy work of the Sky on Sunday. Chicago hasn't had an answer for the center all year, as she's now averaging 20.0 points, 13.0 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.6 steals per game over the teams' three matchups. Without a doubt, Charles is one of the best frontcourt options available for use in DFS on any given night.

August 24, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Charles contributed 13 points (4-11 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 3-5 FT), nine rebounds, three assists and one steal across 25 minutes during Wednesday's 71-50 blowout win over the Fever.

Charles wasn't called upon to play big minutes during Wednesday's blowout victory. She didn't play particularly well, either. While her 13 points and nine boards were nice, she also turned the ball over a stunning six times in her limited action, severely damaging her potential fantasy impact. Overall, the game can probably be chalked up as an outlier, with Charles still remaining one of the best frontcourt options available in DFS.

August 19, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Charles contributed 24 points (8-17 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 8-11 FT), seven rebounds, two assists and one block across 31 minutes during Friday's 82-70 victory over the Sun.

Friday's performance was a nice, but typical, performance from the center. On the season, she averages 20.1 points, 9.3 rebounds and 2.6 assists across 32.9 minutes per game. When deploying Charles in DFS, production similar to Friday's is certainly the expectation.

August 15, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Charles contributed 21 points (8-21 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), seven rebounds and three assists across 38 minutes during Sunday's 83-69 victory over the Sparks.

Sunday was a fairly typical game for Charles, who averages 20.0 points, 9.3 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game. It was also a slight bounce back, as she posted 15 points on 6-of-19 shooting during the previous contest. Overall, she remains a premier DFS frontcourt option.

August 9, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Charles contributed 26 points (8-17 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 9-9 FT), seven rebounds and four assists across 32 minutes during Tuesday's 81-76 victory over the Fever.

Charles bounced back Tuesday from three subpar outings where she totaled 38 points and 23 rebounds on 17-of-49 (34.7 percent) shooting. Her Tuesday numbers weren't eye-popping, but the important note is that she's back on track. The center's 20.1 points, 9.5 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game make her one of the best fantasy options available whenever the Liberty take the floor.

August 1, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Charles collected 13 points (6-16 FG, 1-2 3Pt), eight rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block across 32 minutes during Tuesday's 93-81 loss to the Stars.

Charles has been cold from the field over the past two contests, going a combined 12-for-37 (32.4 percent) en route to 28 points. While she largely made up for it Sunday with her excellent rebounding, great distribution and stellar defense, she didn't quite have the same zeal Tuesday. Despite averaging 20.6 points and 10.0 rebounds per game, Charles still does have a handful of subpar performances thrown in this season. That said, there's likely no cause for concern over the past two contests, as she's shown plenty of ability to bounce back in the past.

August 1, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Charles contributed 15 points (6-21 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-4 FT), 12 rebounds, five assists, three steals and one block across 33 minutes during Sunday's 86-82 victory over the Sky.

Though she shot poorly, Charles was still able to provide quality fantasy value by significantly surpassing her season averages in rebounds (10.0), assists (2.5), steals (0.8) and blocks (0.8). She's one of the best in the business at hitting quality fantasy value by any means necessary, as she's proficient in essentially every aspect of the game. As a result, Charles should likely be considered in DFS every time the Liberty roll the ball out.

July 29, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Charles contributed 25 points (10-19 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-5 FT), four assists, three rebounds and two steals across 34 minutes during Saturday's 85-84 victory over the Fever.

Charles was her usual self in the scoring department, though struggled cleaning the glass against the Fever. Her three rebounds marked a season low in that department. While highly unusual, Charles' rebounding woes Friday should probably be viewed as an outlier rather than a trend, as she had grabbed at least seven rebounds in each of the prior 10 games.

July 26, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Charles contributed 24 points (10-20 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 16 rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block across 36 minutes during Tuesday's 76-75 loss to the Lynx.

Charles continues to be a dominant force on the Liberty this season, posting 20.7 points, 10.2 rebounds and 2.3 assists across 33.3 minutes per game. While she isn't a huge contributor on the defensive end, she racks up a combined 1.5 steals and blocks per game, which certainly adds to her DFS value. Overall, Charles should be strongly considered as a DFS option every night the Liberty roll the ball out.

July 21, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Charles, heading into the All-Star break, is posting 20.5 points, 9.9 rebounds and 2.3 assists across 33.2 minutes per game.

Charles, who has been a dominant force for the Liberty this season, ranks second in the NBA in both points and rebounds per game. She also ranks a solid 13th in blocks per game (0.8). Overall, there should be little doubt that Charles is one of the best frontcourt options available in DFS due to her generally consistent workload and impressive production.

July 19, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Charles provided 28 points (12-21 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 17 rebounds and one assist across 32 minutes during Wednesday's 96-80 victory over the Sun.

Excluding Sunday's game where she played limited minutes in a blowout victory, Charles is averaging a monster 26.0 points and 12.6 rebounds per game over her past five appearances. She's also totaled 12 assists and six blocks over that stretch. There might not be a player who is more on fire heading into the All-Star break than Charles.

July 17, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Charles posted six points (3-10 FG), seven rebounds, three assists and one block across 19 minutes in Sunday's win over the Mystics.

While it still wasn't a very efficient performance from Charles, the game getting out of reach quickly limited the All-Star center's playing time. Despite what numbers say from Sunday's contest, with averages of 20.1 points and 9.5 rebounds per game, Charles remains a premier DFS option in the frontcourt.

July 15, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Charles recorded 23 points (9-22 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 5-8 FT), a season-high 19 rebounds and one assist across 33 minutes during Friday's 78-68 loss to the Sky.

Charles cemented her reputation as one of the best rebounders in the league Friday by snagging a season-high 19 rebounds in just 33 minutes against the Sky. She currently ranks third on the rebounding leaderboard, behind only Sylvia Fowles (10.0) and Jonquel Jones (11.6), at 9.6 boards per game. Other than her work on the glass, Charles still had an impressive outing by dropping 23 points -- her fourth consecutive game with at least 20 points. Overall, little doubt remains that Charles is one of the best frontcourt options available in DFS.

July 11, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Charles accumulated 29 points (11-21 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 6-9 FT), eight rebounds, two steals and one assist across 38 minutes during Sunday's 81-69 loss to the Mercury.

Charles dropped 29 points for the second straight game Sunday -- an impressive feat by anyone's standards. She's been on a three-game hot streak, totaling 79 points, 27 boards, 10 assists, six blocks and three steals. There's no doubt that Charles is one of the best in the business and should be considered for DFS every night that the Liberty take the floor.

July 7, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Charles tallied 29 points (10-21 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 9-11 FT), 12 rebounds, four assists, three blocks and one steal across 38 minutes during Thursday's 79-70 victory over the Storm.

Charles put together on of her best performances of the year Thursday, scoring efficiently, rebounding effectively, dropping dimes and playing good defense. She's been on a roll lately in the assist and block categories, totaling 19 assists and 13 blocks over her past five appearances. Overall, Charles continues to demonstrate why she's a premier DFS option every night.

July 5, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Charles finished Sunday's 72-81 loss to the Dream with 21 points (8-18 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 5-8 FT), seven rebounds, five assists, three blocks and three turnovers across 35 minutes.

Charles scored just eight points on a brutal 3-for-15 clip from the field in the game prior to Sunday's contest, so it was nice bounce-back showing overall for the eight-year veteran. Not only did she surpass the 20-point mark, she also complemented that with solid all-around production, which led to an impressive showing in fantasy contests. She's now hit 20 or more points in three of the last four games and owns season averages of 19.6 points, 8.9 rebounds and 2.4 assists across 33.8 minutes, which makes her one of the elite DFS plays on a game-to-game basis.

June 17, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Charles finished with 25 points (9-18 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 7-10 FT), 10 rebounds, four blocks and three assists across 45 minutes during Friday's 102-93 overtime victory over the Wings.

Friday was a bounce-back game for Charles, who posted just 17 points and five rebounds in 26 minutes during Wednesday's loss to the Sun. Those who deployed Charles in DFS on Friday got rewarded with a 45-minute workload due to overtime, allowing Charles to cross the 20-and-10 threshold -- not to mention the four swats. There continues to be little doubt that Charles is one of the best options at forward for fantasy purposes, as she's posting averages of 20.5 points and 9.0 rebounds per contest and sees a 33.5 minute-per-game workload.

June 15, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Charles posted 17 points (7-13 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and one assist across 26 minutes in Wednesday's loss to the Sun.

It was another solid scoring night for Charles, who is now averaging 20.1 points per game on the season, but she wasn't as effective on the glass after recording a combined 29 rebounds in her previous two contests. Nevertheless, it's just the second game this season where Charles has grabbed five or fewer rebounds, and she is still averaging 8.9 boards per game this year. It likely won't take long for the center to get back to her dominate ways the next time she sees the floor.

June 11, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Charles recorded 21 points (9-19 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 14 rebounds and three assists across 37 minutes in Sunday's win over the Storm.

It was the second-straight double-double for Charles, who has now scored 39 points and grabbed 29 rebounds over the past two games. It was her fourth double-double of the season, as Charles continues to be the premier DFS option in the frontcourt this season thanks to her high usage rate.

June 7, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Charles registered a game-high 18 points (8-16 FG, 2-3 FT) to go along with her 15 rebounds, two assists, and one steal across 33 minutes in Wednesday's victory over the Dream.

Charles recorded her third double-double of the season with 18 points and a season-high 15 rebounds. Scoring in double-figures in every 2017 contest besides one, Charles continues to prove to be a top-tier fantasy option.

June 5, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Charles scored 16 points (5-15 FG, 0-3 3PT, 6-6 FT) to go with six rebounds and two assists in Sunday's win over the Mercury.

Charles was unable to match her production from Friday's 36-point, 10-rebound effort, but she turned in another strong performance, scoring in double-figures for the seventh time in eight games. Arguably the best center in the game, Charles is averaging 29.7 points, 7.9 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 32.5 minutes per game.

June 3, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Charles contributed 36 points (13-23 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 8-9 FT), 10 rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block across 37 minutes during Friday's 93-89 victory over the Wings.

Charles continued her impressive streak of games Friday by dismantling the Wings for a career-high 36 points. She also set a season-high eight made free throws and tied her season-high two made threes. There continues to be no doubt that Charles is one of the premier frontcourt players in the league and a fantasy option on any given night.

May 31, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Charles tallied 25 points (11-19 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five rebounds and one assist across 29 minutes during Tuesday's 90-75 victory over the Liberty.

Charles has now scored at least 22 points over the past three games, continuing her impressive play as of late after getting off to a slow start at the beginning of the season. While that's impressive, those who may have played her in DFS on Tuesday ultimately had her 25 points dampened by her subpar rebounding effort and five turnovers. Regardless, she's still a premier fantasy option at the forward/center slot considering she's a consistent 20-and-10 threat.

May 27, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Charles finished with 28 points (12-15 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-3 FT), nine rebounds, two steals, one assist and one block across 37 minutes during Friday's 87-81 loss to the Storm.

After a slow two-game start to the season, Charles has spent the past two outings on a tear, totaling 50 points, 20 rebounds and five steals. She's no stranger to the 20-point 10-rebound outing, as she averaged 21.5 points and 9.9 rebounds per game last season. Look for Charles to continue registering more performances like Friday's, rather than when she was shaking the rust off at the beginning of the year.

May 24, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Charles finished with 22 points (7-15 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 7-8 FT), 11 rebounds, three steals and one assist across 34 minutes during Tuesday's 69-67 victory over the Mercury.

Tuesday marked the first time that Charles, a 21.5 point per game scorer last season, reached the 20-point threshold this year. It also marked the first time she recorded double-digit rebounds. While she hasn't averaged at least 10 rebounds per game since 2013, she came as close as possible last season, averaging 9.9 boards per contest. She'll look to build off this performance when the Liberty face the Storm on Friday.

May 19, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Charles posted six points (2-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds and three assists in Thursday's loss to the Lynx.

It's been a rough offensive start for Charles this season, as through her first two games, she's shot just 8-of-28 from the field and has totaled just 19 points. After seven years in the WNBA, Charles has established herself as one of the best frontcourt players in the entire league and is coming off the best season of her career, so it's unlikely this slump will continue. However, given the early struggles, she could be a risky fantasy play until she begins to consistently play at an All-WNBA level again.
