2024 Projections
2024 Fantasy Outlook
The Jets took Corley with the first pick of the third round in the 2024 NFL Draft, 65th overall. He had a prolific college career at Western Kentucky, including 29 TDs over the last three seasons while drawing at least 103 targets each year. Corley mostly caught short passes, with his ability to gain yards after the catch being his standout trait. He's even been compared to Deebo Samuel, though a 4.56 40 at his pro day suggests Corley is a step slower than the 49ers' star receiver. The lack of straight-line speed isn't disqualifying, especially given Corley's strength and bulky frame (5-11, 215). The rookie figures to start his career as New York's third or fourth wide receiver, behind Garrett Wilson and Mike Williams at the very least. Immediate fantasy value thus seems unlikely unless Williams struggles to return from an ACL tear or Wilson misses time with an injury. Read Past Outlooks

Exits practice early
Corley left Wednesday's practice early with an undisclosed lower-body injury and returned without a helmet, Connor Hughes of SNY.tv reports.
ANALYSIS
Hughes notes that Corley walked with a limp after the incident, giving another hint that the rookie won't return to practice Wednesday. The injury doesn't sound especially serious, as a player typically would stay inside rather than joining his teammates to watch the rest of practice if there were concern about a major health issue. With Mike Williams (knee) unavailable for offseason practices, the Jets seem to have a wide-open depth chart at receiver behind No. 1 option Garrett Wilson. Coming in as a third-round pick, Corley should get some first-team reps and may eventually win a role as the team's No. 3 receiver behind Wilson and Williams. Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers apparently is a fan, having recently said that Corley was his favorite wide receiver in the 2024 NFL Draft, per Rich Cimini of ESPN.com.

Catches eye of Rodgers
Aaron Rodgers praised Corley in a recent appearance on the Official Jets Podcast, Rich Cimini of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Rodgers called Corley his "favorite receiver in the draft," which he later clarified to mean the best fit with the team. Cimini suggested that the front office knew that Rodgers liked Corley, which may have influenced their decision to trade up to select the pass catcher early in the third round. Corley should have the chance to immediately start in the slot, and he could get off to a hot start if he remains a favorite target of Rodgers.
