2007 Fantasy Outlook
Ray will try to win a job in the Kansas City bullpen after being claimed off waivers from Atlanta. The 31-year old journeyman parlayed a strong spring training with Atlanta into his first big league job since 1999. He started strong with a 2.66 ERA before the All-Star break that included a brief tenure as Atlanta's closer. But it came crashing down in the second half with a 7.66 ERA and he posted a poor 50:38 K:BB ratio overall. There's not a lot of reason to think he'll end his journeyman ways with the Royals.
