2011
Arnett had a miserable full season debut in 2010 with a 6.79 ERA between Rookie ball and Low-A. It was one of the worst first pro seasons for a first-round pick in recent memory. Scouts are baffled as to how he could have lost so much since being drafted, but the Brewers are far from giving up on him. He'll be starting over this season and will need to prove himself at the lower levels before moving up.
2010
The Brewers selected Arnett with the 26th pick in the 2009 draft and signed him quickly. His control was a major issue in his short stint with rookie-level Helena and he gave up too many hits, but his strong 9.21 K/9IP shows his potential. The Brewers are short on starting pitchers and will push Arnett through the system. That doesn't mean that he'll see the majors in 2010, though, and he will likely start at Low-A Wisconsin.
