According to the report, a test conducted after a May 21 game showed traces of hydroxystanozolol, a metabolite of the anabolic steroid stanozolol, and the second sample taken from Rios found the same banned substance on June 21. Rios, who last pitched in the majors with the Yankees in 1997 and the Royals in 1998 under the name Danny Rios, will be suspended through June 27, 2009.
