Past Fantasy Outlooks
2006
2004
What happened? Ramirez was the talk of winter ball after posting a 0.90 ERA in 23 games for Aguilas in the Dominican Winter League. He had the red carpet to the Royals bullpen rolled out for him and a possible closing role entering 2005. But it all fell apart, ending with the Royals setting him free after he went 5-5 with a 5.21 ERA in Triple-A Omaha. He'll turn 27 in 2006 and sports a live arm worth a few more chances.
