Valiquette was drafted out of high school in Canada and has always been considered a slow-developing prospect. The Reds added him to their 40-man roster in November, but he's still a long way from being ready to contribute at the major league level. Still, he turns just 23 in February and has a live arm, so there's still time and he has a tangible upside. Just watch him from afar right now.
