2008

At Double-A last year, Nowak showed he had decent speed, good strike-zone judgement, and better-than-average defense at first base. So far, Nowak seems to do everything well except hit for power, which is a big prerequisite to playing first base in the majors; we'll see if that power develops in the next year or so. He'll likely start 2008 at Triple-A Durham.
