The Tigers selected Holaday in the sixth round of the 2010 draft. He hit .242/.304/.361 in 330 at-bats with Double-A Erie in 2011. With fellow catching prospects Rob Brantly and James McCann both more highly touted, Holaday has a long way to go before getting a legit shot with the Tigers. The 24-year-old profiles as a backup catcher in the majors.
