RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks

2014

There was no outlook written for Doug Glanville.

2005

Glanville returned to Philadelphia in 2004 as a fifth outfielder. He didn't do much with the stick and at 34 his days in the majors may be over.

2004

Glanville will likely be a fifth outfielder in his second trip to Philadelphia because he flat out can't hit. He could add 5-10 steals to someone's deep single-league roto squad, but that's probably his ceiling.

2003

Glanville joins a new team to create lots of outs at the top of the order. Texas signed him in part because of his defense in center, but have threatened to make him their leadoff hitter. His stolen base potential makes him more valuable in roto than in real life.
