This is probably the end of the line for Henderson, but it was a hell of a ride and he should be remembered as one of the great ones. Yes, we said something similar to this last year, and the year before that, etc. ... His next step will be Cooperstown, whenever he decides to take it. It'll be on Rickey's terms, and he's earned that right.

2003

Rickey still knows how to draw a walk and get on base. Unfortunately, when he is forced to swing the bat, he doesn't get on often enough to invest in his stolen base potential.
