Hundley was hurt for most of 2003 and the Dodgers will give David Ross a chance to win the backup catcher's job. Hundley needs to impress in spring training and remain healthy to have any roto value in 2004.

2003

In a swap of expensive backups with the Cubs, the Dodgers get Hundley's services for the next two years. His time in Chicago was abysmal, as he failed to hit .200, suffered numerous little injuries, complained of the heat and day games, and looked worse than ever in a defensive role, once forcing Kerry Wood to strike out 4 batters in one inning.
