RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks

2014

There was no outlook written for Roberto Machado.

2004

Machado opted for free agency instead of a minor league assignment. He's never had more than 211 at-bats in one season, and we think that record will remain intact in 2004.

2003

Machado performed well after the Brewers acquired him in an early season trade with the Cubs, hitting .261 with 22 RBI. Heading into spring training, Machado has been tabbed as the starting catcher but will face competition from a number of other nomad catchers.
