Speaking to reporters in Tampa, Fla., suspended Yankees designated hitter Darryl Strawberry would not comment on whether he violated terms of his probation, but instead said the colon cancer that made him an emotional national story two years ago had returned. "Physically, I have some situations coming up right now that's going to be real difficult for me," Strawberry said. "So, I have to deal with them at this point." Strawberry specified cancer only when asked directly if it returned, simply saying, "yes" before breaking off the interview.
