2004

Holmes struggled last year with shoulder problems including a partial tear of his rotator cuff. He still has strong command, but given his age and injury problems, it's not a good bet he'll return to his 2002 form.

2003

Holmes had an amazing season considering he missed all of 2001 with back problems. It was more that just a physical revival as the Atlanta coaching staff also helped him find great control. He'll have a prominent role again in the Atlanta bullpen, and if his health holds up, could help your squad from a set-up role. The projection here reflects more of Holmes' downside, should he not stay healthy.
