RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks
There was no outlook written for Alan Levine.
After a solid 2003 campaign with the Royals and Devil Rays, Levine struggled to find command of his pitches with the Tigers last season. As a result of his poor performance, Detroit declined to offer arbitration to him and he will be looking for a bullpen job with another club.
After coming over to the Royals in late July, Levine was unspectacular and experienced control problems. He entered the closer group and even earned a save. He'll have a setup role in Detroit, but will need to continue to be hard on lefties to maintain a decent role in the bullpen.
Will fill a middle relief/setup role for the Cardinals. He walks too many hitters to be relied upon by your fantasy squad.
