As unlikely a candidate to have four saves as you'll find, Wasdin bounced between the bullpen and the rotation all season without completely embarrassing himself. He'll continue to give the Rangers flexibility with his ability to pitch in relief as well as make the occasional spot start.
2004
Wasdin will try his luck in Texas after bouncing around the Pittsburgh and Toronto systems in 2003. There's nothing here to suggest he'll provide Texas anything more the occasional spot start from the minors when injuries dictate.
2003
He'll head to spring training with Texas under a minor-league contract, though he could see some time in the Texas rotation as the season progresses as an injury fill-in.
