2004

Wendell made a big comeback from elbow surgery that forfeited his 2002 season. After starting out strong, Wendell tired down the stretch, which might have been the result of the surgery. Wendell compiled a 0.67 ERA before July, but then in the last two months of the season added a 5.81 ERA to expand his numbers. Now in Colorado, that comeback won't mean much for fantasy owners.

2003

Elbow tendinitis kept Wendell on the DL for the entire season. He's owed one more year at $3.2 million and should return. He was an effective setup man with the Mets, but things haven't worked out for him in Philadelphia.
