RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks

2014

There was no outlook written for Ben Petrick.

2004

Petrick was moved to Detroit in the hopes that he could finally translate his monster Triple-A numbers into effective Major League ones. He didn't, and it's unlikely that he ever will. He's running out of chances and is now away from Colorado's thin air, so stay away.

2003

Clearly in need of a change of scenery to an organization that will put him in one position and leave him there. The move to a crowded outfield severely cramps his playing time potential.
