2005
Wooten spent half the year at Triple-A for Philadelphia and didn't impress when he was with the big club. He will be hard pressed to find a big league job in 2005.
2004
Wooten should hit better than he showed in 2003, though we doubt he'll get regular playing time in 2004. He's now 31, so he'll likely be limited to a utility role with Philadelphia.
2003
Wooten had plans of platooning with Brad Fullmer at DH and Scott Spiezio at first, but missed the first three months of the 2002 season with a rib cage injury and when he came back, the other two were playing so well that Wooten was the odd man out. Wooten's value is hurt by the fact that in many leagues he qualifies only as a DH.
